The Scrap Space
Become a day or year member of The Scrap Space at low cost to take away reclaimed materials for play, art, craft, theatre and DIY. Donate your unwanted household and business resources to be redistributed for creative reuse.
​We have annual and day membership options to suit a range of needs from households to schools and everything in between.
You can visit to look around and drop off donations without being a member. If you want to take away scrap you can join by paying cash or card in person for any membership. If you want to take out an annual group membership you can alternatively join remotely in advance. ​

The Scrap Space has its own Facebook and Instagram pages which showcase the resources currently available and where upcoming opening hours can also be found as well as below.

The Scrap Space has different opening hours during school term times and school holidays.​
We are on school holiday hours from 23rd July to 2nd September.

The Scrap Space is in Shoreham-by-Sea as part of The Circular Space community creative reuse hub at Ham Road, Shoreham-by-Sea BN43 6PA.

A second branch of The Scrap Space will be opening in central Brighton at the end of September 2025
The Scrap Space is run by volunteer regular weekly staff, assisted by an army of volunteer casual scrap sorters. Contact us if you are interested in volunteering, or pop in for a chat at The Circular Space when The Scrap Space is open there. Read about volunteering roles here: ​​​​​​
The Scrap Space in Brighton: we will be be setting this up from 7th September 2025 and are aiming to open on 22nd September with the opening hours below. Contact us if you'd like to help get it set up or have any display furniture like bookshelves you'd like to donate.
